You can now add Downloads to your Sparkeo Video Course

Sparkeo, the video platform that enables educators to monetize their video courses added some new features to the platform.

Besides a new check out page and some bug fixes Sparkeo introduced a feature that enables educators to add downloadable attachments to their video courses.

The “problem” with video courses, if you want to see it as one, is the missing direct interaction between the student and the teacher. Sparkeo offers the possibility to contact the video creator directly through the Sparkeo player but still you would have to wait for an answer.

Adding extra content in the form of downloadable pdfs is a great way to give the student more material to work on and if there are questions that come up more often you could add something like a FAQ file.

To recap the functions:

  • Students can highlight parts of the video course and annotate them.
  • Students can ask questions directly through the video player.
  • Teachers can break the course into chapters and annotate them.
  • Teachers can add downloadable content to the video course.
