But Zinch, as the tagline says, is more than a place to showcase your test score. The service lets you set up a personal profile quite similar to LinkedIn where you can showcase your interests, achievements, specialities etc. to show that you are more than just a test score.
2. URoomSurf – College Roommate Finder

After Zinch hooked you up with the college it is time to think about your roommates. And this is where URoomSurf comes in handy. It is basically a dating / casting site for people who are looking for a roommate. You select your school, fill out a survey that will ask you a couple of questions first. Then you will be asked how you would like your roommate to respond to these questions. In the end you will see a list of matching people of the same sex.
You can then connect with those people, have a chat with them and decide which one you would like to pick as your roommate. The last step is to post a roommate request through the school’s established method. Easy.
3. Food2Dorm – The College Way to Shop

Now having chosen your college and your perfect roommate you can totally focus on learning. If there was not that grocery shopping everytime the fridge is empty. But don’t worry, there is a service for that.
