Learnable – Video Lessons from Down Under

If you are a viewer of EDUKWEST, I hope you are, you might know already that I had Leni Mayo, the co-founder of Learnable on the show just recently (slight hint to watch the interview).

Learnable is still in closed beta and preparing for its launch later this month but I believe it is rather risk-free to predict this platform’s impact on the education 2.0 market already now.

TenMarks silently built a YouTube Channel with nearly 1300 Videos

As you might know, TenMarks is one of my favorite online education startups at the moment and I am very much looking forward to my upcoming talk and EDUKWEST interview with Rohit Agarwal, one of the co-founders of TenMarks coming Monday.

Today though I stumbled over a little tweet of TenMarks about their YouTube channel and I think this one can compete with the famous Khan Academy.

Are Teachers Going to be Irrelevant?

Over the past few days, I have been trying out Babbel to learn French. They have obviously iterated over their interactive courses to come up with an incredibly nice solution (and the speech recognition is just the icing on the cake). I have been telling about this to anyone whom I can. And, that has resulted in some great conversations, especially with some people who have traveled around the world.
