review:ed Episode #3.6 – What is Emagister?

At the end of this review:ed episode I asked Chris about his new / old job at Emagister.com as I did not cover this company yet.

The numbers are really impressive, 10 years in business, over three million users in Spain and over two thousand community moderators.

Sixth Topic: What is Emagister?

Emagister started as search engine for courses with ratings, opinions and the possibility to contact the school directly ten years ago in Spain. The company got very successful in eleven different countries in search for formal education but recently Emagister decided to broaden the search to informal learning, too.

Therefore, Emagister launched learning communities and today over 3 million people in Spain are learning in those communities already moderated by over two thousand “community heroes”. Emagister will also launch specific tools for teachers to publish courses for the Spanish market soon. The company also recently launched in the UK.

Of course I invited Chris to an EDUKWEST interview to learn more about this obviously very successful company.

To get an idea of the platform visit www.emagister.com or www.emagister.co.uk.

EMagister is a scam, the company sends tons of spam and the advertised courses pay for trash emails. NEVER contract EMagister for anything
