Now this is big news for every teacher on Myngle who really wants to take his or her online teaching to the next level. Myngle offers a joint scholarship with LANCELOT School.
The LANCELOT School (LANguage learning with CErtified Live Online Trainers) is based on a course which was developed by Universities and a total of 23 European partners in EU funded LANCELOT project (2005-2007) and holds the value of 9 University credits in a graduate degree.
The LANCELOT Course consists of 10 modules over a 10 weeks period with a total of approximately 50-70 hours work for participants. The certification process should commence within 6 months of the end of the course after a period of practical teaching experience in a virtual classroom. The assessment includes an e-portfolio and an evaluation of observed teaching by an external assessor.
Myngle is offering one teacher the complete package including the course AND the certification. This is a value of almost 1000 Euro! Nine other teachers will be able to take the course without the certification for only 95 Euro. And all the other teachers who won’t be selected will receive a 30% discount.
Teachers can apply for the scholarship by filling out an application form on Myngle. A panel of Myngle and LANCELOT School will then decide who the lucky 10 teachers are going to be.
The LANCELOT course should be taken by teachers who are already experienced. It is definitely not a beginner level course like the E-Teachers Academy offers. The LANCELOT course will take you much deeper into the possibilities of using the virtual classroom environment and tools which interact with it.
In fact one of the goals of the E-Teachers Academy is to make the teacher ready to take this course and the certification.
Therefore: if you are an active Myngle teacher who has already experience in teaching online and if you are serious in building your online teaching career to a fulltime income apply for this scholarship. This is truly an awesome opportunity.
If you are a newbie on the online teaching market check out the E-Teachers Academy
