I really need to interview these guys! In June, I already wrote a small post about their video monetization feature for videos but this newest feature is also a very interesting one.
The Social Playhead of Invideous not only shows where you are currently in the video but also where other people are who are watching the video at the same time you do.
Taking this in an educational framework, students who are watching the video and don’t understand a part could contact other viewers via the inbuilt chat option and ask them for advice.
This could then lead to new study groups which gather around the newest video of the educator and make the experience more social. Hence the potential of building a vivid community around your content grows and therefore the chances to convert those viewers into customers.
I think I might give it a try on Deutsch Happen. Just need the time to build a video course
