		<description>There are of course other factors like a good teacher and 1o1 training but I think the surrounding is a big factor, yes.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;In this case you should be forced to use the new language in an authentic environment. And nothing is more authentic than the country itself. Problem in Germany if you want to learn Germen: everyone starts speaking English ;).&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;So for me the ideal case is: asynchronous learning + 1o1 lessons + real world practice.</description>

		<description>Are you sure that learning in a foreign country with native speakers is the most effective way to learn? I think it depends on a great number of variables and how you measure effective.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;This also goes to the heart of Krashen&#039;s learning vs. acquistion distinction.</description>
