Sometimes I get suprised by somebody I thought he could not suprise me anymore. After the “Hot Teacher” Affaire followed by the “Toilet Man” Fiasco I thought Myngle would have learned how not to do marketing.
Today I received the following tweet:

Today I got an email from the “Colonel” introducing the new eduFire “All You Can Eat Learn Menu” at the amazing price of $29!
Jon told me already quite a while ago about it and now I am really interested to see the effects the SuperPass will have on paid lessons.
So let me give you a brief overview and my thoughts about this offer.
Today is a historic day in many ways. There is the 65th anniversary of the D-Day landings in Normandy, the 25th anniversary of Tetris and the launch of the Palm Pre Smartphone in the USA.
I am thinking for quite a while now about the potentials that Smartphones have for education. So in honour of the Pre (I can’t wait until they launch it in Europe) lets talk about Smartphones a bit.

Happy Birthday! One year eduFire – time really flies.
So let me give you my personal review of the past year with eduFire and my wishes for the year(s) to come.

Today it is up to me to announce a new project of mine. On the 1st of June 2009 a couple of colleagues and I will open the E-Teachers Academy.
The Academy is a direct result of my experience in the past year teaching online and the talks I had with different CEOs, colleagues and students from around the globe. The main goal of the Academy will be to empower teachers for education 2.0.
So let me explain the idea.

Myngle got some muscles today.
Today Myngle made three big announcements.
1) They launched the new Myngle Pro Service.
2) They implemented a new schedule.
2) They joined forces with the Instituto Cervantes.
Seems as if the Myngle Parrot shows its new shiny biceps to its competitors.
WiZiQ announced the start for Public Paid Classes in their blog today. They also got themselves a new look so I think it’s time to put them into the spotlight again.
