As I also had an EDUKWEST interview with Tamim Swaid, the founder and director of CoboCards, I think it’s about time to write up a little blog post about this company.
New year, new language learning start up. I just got followed by Learn2Lingo on Twitter and had a quick first look and I have to say: it looks quite nice.
The good thing is that I can write this blog post after just 5 minutes being on the site. So the message gets through.

It all started with NBC’s decision to bring Jay Leno back into the prime time slot and hence move Conan and the Tonight show to 12:05AM. And as always when titans fight the smaller ones like in this case Carson Daily get crushed under their feet.
But besides some very funny videos and a big wave of support for Coco there is (as always) something to learn, right?
Today the language learning community busuu.com and the renown German publisher PONS announced a partnership forming the third collaboration between an online community and a classic publisher after Livemocha / Pearson and Babbel / Hueber / Collins.
My good friend and mentor Andrew Warner of Mixergy asked me this question yesterday after his interview with Colin Wright who is, of course, a Digital Nomad.
This is a very interesting question indeed and I think this kind of lifestyle will become increasingly interesting especially for educators. So, here is my take on it.

So, this is the last KirstenWinkler.com of the first decade of the second Millenium (depending on your calendar, of course).
Funny enough it does not feel like this. There is so much to do and do you remember the overhyped New Year’s Eve 1999 / 2000? I have to say, this was my worst New Year’s Eve party ever 
.
Anyway, let me take a short moment to wrap up 2009 and to give you a small outlook on my plans for 2010.
